Douglas
Wieselman is a composer and musician who has worked in
theatre, dance, and film. In theatre, he has worked with the Flying
Karamazov Brothers and director Robert Woodruff, both together
and separately, on numerous productions across the country. In
dance he has written for Paul Taylor and Jerome Robbins. As a
musician he has worked with Wayne Horovitz, Robin Holcomb, Victoria
Williams, Steven Bernstein, Anthony Coleman, Tricky, John Lurie,
Laurie Anderson and Lou Reed, among many others He co-leads Kamikaze
Ground Crew (two cd's on New World, two cd's on Koch Jazz) as
well as leading his current band, Trio S, with drummer Kenny Wollesen
and 'cellist Jane Scarpantoni. Some of his music can be downloaded
